Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 8, 2026 · Last Updated: July 8, 2026

Blue Bear Marketing ("we," "us," or "our") operates an internal marketing tool that connects to the Meta Marketing API to create and manage paid advertising campaigns on behalf of our clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Who We Are

Blue Bear Marketing is a digital advertising agency that manages Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns for ecommerce brands. Our registered business operates at bluebearmarketing.com.

We use an internal application ("Blue Bear Ads Agent") built on the Meta Marketing API solely to manage advertising activity within our clients' Meta ad accounts. This application is not a public-facing product and is used exclusively by Blue Bear Marketing staff.

2. Information We Collect

In the course of providing our services, we may collect and process the following types of information:

Client business information — company name, website, contact details, and ad account identifiers provided by clients when onboarding.

Ad account data — campaign performance metrics, spend, creative assets, audience configurations, and other advertising data accessed through the Meta Marketing API on behalf of clients.

Contact information — name and email address of client contacts for communication purposes.

Website usage data — standard analytics data collected when visitors browse bluebearmarketing.com (pages visited, browser type, referring URL).

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers.

3. How We Use Information

Information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

Creating, managing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) on behalf of clients.

Generating performance reports and analytics for client campaigns.

Communicating with clients about campaign status, results, and strategy.

Improving our internal tools and processes.

Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any client or end-user information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Meta Marketing API

Our internal application accesses the Meta Marketing API under permissions granted by our clients. Through this API, we interact with Meta's advertising infrastructure to create campaigns, manage ad sets, upload creative assets, and retrieve performance data.

Our use of data obtained through the Meta Marketing API complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Data accessed through the API is used only to provide the advertising services our clients have engaged us for.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share client data with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

Meta Platforms, Inc. — as required to operate advertising campaigns through their API.

Service providers — vendors who assist with business operations (e.g., email, file storage) who are contractually bound to protect the data.

Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, with advance notice to affected clients.

6. Data Retention

We retain client data for as long as the client relationship is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes. Ad account access is revoked promptly upon client offboarding. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. Access tokens and credentials used to connect to the Meta Marketing API are stored securely as environment variables and never shared or exposed in code repositories or communications.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you have concerns about data security, please contact us directly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you.

The right to request correction of inaccurate data.

The right to request deletion of your data.

The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.

9. Cookies

Our website (bluebearmarketing.com) may use standard cookies for analytics and functionality purposes. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. We do not use cookies to track visitors across third-party websites.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
